Project Expendable (Demo)

Game Description

In this 2D, puzzle platformer you will control an astronaut, Mars, who is attempting to climb up an icy mountain in an alien world. They'll have to avoid obstacles and various dangers through each level of the climb by pulling tricky maneuvers using the tools at their disposal.

Something about this world and your character, however, appears stranger than you can imagine. From the existence of a small, telepathic alien companion to a sea of corpses bearing your resemblance, only through your ascent can you begin to understand what this mountain holds…

Background & Other Info

This project demo was conceived under a program offered by one of Florida International University's computer programming organizations, INIT. In this program, called Build, a team of programmers, artists, and a writer were led by yours truly to make a demo of this game idea within the span of 9 weeks. What you currently see is what we've managed to make during that time. We plan to continue with this project and flesh it out to fulfill its full vision.

Currently, there are no concrete plans on making a profit from this game, so no payment is required and donations are not being received.
